Robin Waters
Robin has advised government and commercial clients since 2000. His 30
years of experience in all sectors of the surveying, mapping and
geographical information industry is now being used for the benefit of
clients in central government departments, commercial mapping firms, mobile
telephone companies, the EU, industry regulators and major utilities.
Robin will listen to clients, establish their requirements and propose a
logical, realistic and costed plan for an agreed set of deliverables. These have included strategies,
audit reports, process and system reviews,procurements, and quality assurance. He has also delivered awareness workshops and facilitated discussions on strategies and implementation.
Robin specialises in land, property and planning related systems and has
advised on datasets for locations based services, address management, GPS
compatibility and underground services. He is currently secretary of the
British Standards Institution geographic information committee (IST36) and
chair of the Association of Geographic Information's INSPIRE Directive
working group.
